Carmen Returned to Odessa Opera

Dress rehearsal of Georges Bizet opera Carmen in Odessa National Academic Theater of Opera and Ballet took place. Opening nights will be on June 19, 20, and 21.

The performance has long been in the theater repertoire except for the last several years.

Director and choreographer - People's Artist of Tatarstan Republic, Honored Art Worker of Russia Georgiy Kovtun. Scenery and costumes were created by the Honored Artist of Ukraine Stanislav Zaitsev and Elena Lesnikova.

The conductor's stand was occupied by the chief conductor of the theater - the People's Artist of Moldova Republic Aleksandru Samoileh. Carmen party was performed by Ekaterina Tsimbalyuk, Jose - Aleksandr Prokopovich, Mikaela - Yuliya Tereshchuk, Eskamilio - Vadim Chernigovskiy.
